Eric Nelson Gershenow
Heavily influenced by classic blues and 60’s/70’s Soul music, you can hear the sounds of Motown and Stax Records in the syncopated rhythmic style of Eric’s guitar playing that spans across every aspect of his music. Having been immersed in the Philadelphia music scene since 2010, Eric has performed and recorded with numerous local artists from both rock/folk and R&B jazz communities, most notably performing with R&B heavy hitters Stephen Wise and Grammy-nominated bassist Doug Grigsby III. Having released the self-titled 5 song EP Harmonic Frequency Matching in March 2018, Eric continues to produce original works under the banner “HFM” formulated as a consortium for the purpose of spotlighting local Philadelphia talent. Eric also operates as Music Director for Casabuena Cultural Productions in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, writing and recording original pieces for video and live theatre as well as engineer sound for live performances including the 2018 Barrymore Nominated production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
